French

At St Peter’s we want our Key Stage two children to become independent language learners and confident speakers. We make sure they learn everything set out in the National Curriculum, helping them build a deeper understanding of the world around them. Our pupils enjoy a broad and balanced curriculum where French is taught with purpose and rich, useful knowledge.

French lessons at St Peter’s help children grow in confidence, resilience, and cultural awareness. We encourage them to aim high, and learning French supports their future aspirations and prepares them for the modern world. Through French, our children develop important academic skills as well as personal qualities that will help them throughout life.
