Headteacher’s Welcome
St Peter's Primary School is set in the small market town of Market Bosworth. We are surrounded by local history and the school is an integral part of the local community and our St Peter's Church.
Our academy focus is 'Inspiring learning for life', and with inclusion at the forefront of our school vision, we have high expectations for all pupils.
We’re thrilled to announce our new 2026/27 children today - we can’t wait to welcome them and their families into the St Peter's family 🎉♥️A big welcome to the children who will be joining our primary schools in September 🎉🎓

On Sunday 26th April 2026, our very own Mr Pegg will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon and running 26.2 miles! 🏃🏅🎉
He is raising money in support of The Bodie Hodges Foundation, which supports families in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland following the death of a child. As a school, we have close links with the charity and we've seen first-hand the incredible difference they make.
Mr Pegg's six‑year‑old daughter, Emilia, has also joined the fundraising efforts…she’s gearing up to take on the Freddie Festive Fun Run 5K in Burbage! 🌟🎄
If you would like to donate, and are able to do so, any contributions or words of encouragement for Mr Pegg are greatly appreciated!

We’re proud to be supporting #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek with Place2Be! 🤝❤️
This year’s theme, “This Is My Place,” focuses on helping children feel a true sense of belonging. When young people feel they belong, they feel safer, more confident, and more empowered to make a positive difference in their world.
At St Peter’s, we are committed to promoting wellbeing through an inclusive, caring and supportive environment where every pupil is encouraged to thrive 🙌
