What are the Friends?
The Friends of St. Peter’s is made up of all parents, carers, staff and governors of the school. Members of the community who do not have children at the school may be accepted as nonvoting members of the association.
As a charity, the Friends provide invaluable support to the school through organising many events involving parents/carers. The money they raise provides extra facilities and equipment for our pupils. The Friends hold regular meetings in the school and if you are interested in attending or becoming a committee member please contact the Chairperson.
The Friends of St. Peter’s need the support of parents to make sure that it continues to contribute so much to our school. Parents can play a part in three ways:
- Support and attend school Friends events
- Volunteer to help at an event, as a one off or on a regular basis (many hands make light work!)
- Become a committee member
